The Burke Brise Soleil Flapping at MAM

When conditions conditions and wind speeds permit, the Burke Brise Soleil ("wings") opens with the Museum, closes and reopens at apex, and closes again when the Museum closes. Run into Museum hours below.

Kohl's Art Studio is open up Friday–Dominicus, 10 a.grand.–iv p.m.

Directions + Parking

Directions

Become to the Museum by bike, bus, or car. The Reiman Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge, connects the Museum campus to downtown Milwaukee. The nearest jitney stop is located at the intersection of Prospect Ave and Bricklayer Street. Bike racks are available on the Museum grounds. The Oak Leaf bike trail passes right aslope the Museum.

Parking

Two attainable parking garages offer convenient access to the Museum.

Calatrava Underground Parking Garage

The Calatrava undercover parking garage is air conditioned/heated and offers accessible parking spaces. It is located due south of the Museum on N. Art Museum Drive, which is accessed from Michigan Street or Lincoln Memorial Bulldoze.

Museum Center Park Garage

The Museum Center Park garage is located on Lincoln Memorial Bulldoze, directly westward of the Museum. If traveling from the garage to the Museum via the Reiman Bridge, visitors tin access an elevator to reach the main entrance.

Civilities + Accessibility

  • The Museum CafĂ© is open during Museum hours and offers nutrient and drinks for dine-in and carryout service. Water fountains are available throughout the campus. Food and drinkable are not permitted in the galleries.
  • Elevators are located at the entrance for access to and from the Reiman Bridge and within the Museum for access to all levels.
  • The Museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs, if needed, are bachelor from the admissions desk.
  • Service animals and Segways used for mobility are welcome.
  • Haversack baby carriers, umbrellas, and bags larger than xiii × 17 in. are not permitted in the galleries. Lockers are available to store these, and any other items carried on your dorsum, on the East End and in the Quadracci Pavilion.
